Where i live...

''India the land of the dancing peacocks...the land of various cultures, of historical intrigue and oh....so many people !! I live in a cosmopolitan mini metro city in, the central provinces. Indore is situated on the Malwa plateau at an altitude of 553 m above sea level, on the banks of two small rivulets - the Saraswati and the Khan. They unite at the centre of the city where a small 18th century temple of the Hindu  Lord Indreshwar exists. The name Indore is due to this diety. It is the commercial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh. It presents a happy blend of it's  historical past and promises rapid mordernisation. The picture above is of the palace of The Holkars..the then rulers of this province.

My interests...

I have always been a ''peoples'' person, my interest lies in people, nature and animals. I like to observe human behaviour, mannerisms and have an eye for details. I have had the opportunity of meeting people from all walks of life. Being born under the zodiac sign of Scorpio, I am blessed with an extra sense of perception. Hence, my interest in photography, I love looking at some good work of perceptive photographers, based upon reality and events. Certain pieces of  art do please my senses too, and I feel that music is a tonic for almost  every soul.

I am also interested in  culinary arts.I call it an 'Art 'because I find it a very creative and therapeutic activity. And yes...I can cook.
